  • How close is the nearest piste?

    The nearest piste (blue or green) is 500m from the apartment and is at the top of the 'Patinoire Telecabine' also by the 'Le Vieux Chalet' restaurant.
  • How close are the nearest ski-bus stops?

    Chalet Bleuet is situated 70m from 'Le Florilege' on Line 6 to take you to 'Les Laquais' and Line 4 (150m) to take you to the village centre. The 'Telemix de 'L'Etale' is on Lines 5 and 6, Line 5 is just 150m away at the stop 'Les Fiaux' and 'Gotty Chapelle'. The current ski-bus timetable can be found here.
  • How long is our reservation on hold while you wait for our deposit?

    We normally allow a week for the deposit to be paid but no reservation will be held unless the booking form has been signed, completed and returned to us (preferably by email) as soon as possible and within a week of receiving it.
  • How do I get the keys for the apartment?

    The keys are available from our local representative who will be able to meet you on your arrival. Details of this will be given on the rental contract to be signed between ourselves for your holiday.
  • How far away is the village centre?

    The centre of La Clusaz is around 1.5km away on the D909, but you can walk just 500m to the top of the 'Patinoire Telecabine' and decend for free to the village centre and return either with your ski-pass or by ski-bus.
  • How close are the nearest restaurants?

    'Le Vieux Chalet' is 500m away which is a four star restaurant, 'La Ferme' is a 10 minute walk which is very popular with tourists and locals alike and about a 15 minute walk is the 'U'Fredy' hotel restaurant situated by the 'Etale Telemix' chair lift.
  • Are there any items for infants in the apartment?

    Yes, there is a wooden high chair and a travel cot for your use. These are stored in the garage for the apartment.
  • Are animals allowed?

    Animals are allowed but permission will only be granted depending on the type, age and temperament of the animal. The apartment is suited for animals, being on the ground floor with a terrace and garden.
  • If I break something will I loose my deposit?

    We ask that if you do damage any major items during your stay it would be preferable if you would contact us. Normally the least expensive course of action for minor items would be to replace the item in question of a similar quality yourselves. If in doubt, please ask.
  • Is there car parking?

    There is parking available in the garage for the apartment, also next to the garage block on the opposite side of the road and on a pull-in just next to the metal steps for Chalet Bleuet.
  • Does the apartment have a garage?

    Yes, The garage is situated in the block of garages on the oppposite side of the road and is the 11th garage from the post boxes.
  • What time is check-in/check-out?

    Normally, check-out is 10am and check-in is 4pm. If you wish to arrive/depart at different times, then please let us know and we'll do our best to help accommodate you.
  • Do you have smoke and carbon monoxide dectectors?

    We have smoke detectors in the hallway and living room but there are no carbon monoxide dectectors because there is no gas supply to the chalet. Therefore the apartment has no equipment to generate carbon monoxide.
  • Is there a hairdryer?

    Yes, there is a hairdryer and this located in the living room cupboard, next to the iron and ironing board.
  • I have made a reservation for the maximum of 4 people, can I invite some friends to stay?

    No. The number of occupants must be specified at the time of booking and is for a maximum of four people.
  • Will I find cleaning materials in the apartment?

    Yes, normal cleaning materials are provided and can be found in the WC. All we ask is that you would please replace any items you use with something similar.
  • What type of heating is there?

    Every room has electric wall heaters and there is also underfloor heating designed to keep the whole chalet at a constant minimum temperature. Heating for hot water is provided by a electric boiler which is located in the WC.
  • I have made an email enquiry but have not yet received a reply?

    Normally, we answer enquiries within a couple of hours. Sometimes, your ISP may treat our reply as 'junk mail' so it may not arrive in your mailbox. Please check the necessary on your email account or if you haven't had a reply from us you can always call or text us on the numbers here.
  • How do I know this is not a scam?

    Unfortunately, scammers are targeting listing sites by gaining access to the email accounts or adverts of owners and therefore intercepting messages and payments. How can you avoid this being a problem? Most owners of a holiday home will have a varied web presence and can be found elsewhere with a little searching on the internet. A scammer will have none. For example, you can find Chalet Bleuet on our own website, and other adverts shown elsewhere. Also, you will find me listed in the UK phonebook.
